T-MAX ATW PRO 4500, 12V, Steel Rope

With the two winches 4500 and 6000 from the ATW Pro Series, T-MAX offers two products that are perfectly designed to meet the needs of owners of large all-terrain vehicles, whether side-by-side, utility vehicle or quad. With a pulling force of up to 2,720 kg, the winches are also suitable for compact off-road cars. With a weight of 12 to 16 kg, depending on the version, and a width of approx. 38 cm, they are extremely lightweight and compact for their performance.

The winches can be supplied with a steel cable and pulley cable window or with a high-quality Dyneema® plastic cable and aluminum cable window. It is operated via cable remote control, which can be easily attached to the handlebars thanks to the bracket supplied. Optionally, a convenient wireless remote control can be retrofitted via Plug&Play.

Inside the winch is the latest innovative technology that makes the outstanding performance of the ATW Pro Series winches possible in the first place. The highly efficient series wound motors (Series Wound) perform amazingly despite their compactness and consume 20 to 30% less electricity than conventional motors from the competition. A torque limiter protects the winch against overload and the risk of rope breakage with dangerous rope snaking, especially in winches with steel ropes.

Mechanics and gears are fully sealed for durability and low maintenance. Roller bearings ensure smooth running, which is immediately noticeable during manual unwinding. The newly developed freewheel clutch can be operated by turning the right yellow end cap. The small aluminum knob is removable.

The newly developed and patented brake system EBT (Eccentric Block Type) prevents the cable drum from heating up when winching. This means that the Dyneema synthetic rope, which is sensitive to overheating, can also be used with the winch.

Dyneema® winch ropes are made from the strongest fiber SK-75. Due to the special attachment, the winch can still be used with the specified maximum pulling force with only one winding on the drum. The polished aluminum fairlead (AFL) fairlead prevents the plastic rope from fraying.

The winch is controlled via a fully integrated relay module (ISM, Integrated Solenoid Module). Developed and manufactured according to military and commercial requirements, it ensures the reliable operation of the cable winch for many years. Silver plated relay contacts reduce contact resistance, voltage losses and temperature. Due to the integrated design, the number of components, screw contacts and wiring is significantly reduced compared to a conventional relay box, thus eliminating many sources of error. The relay box can be screwed to the cable winch directly above the engine or installed on the vehicle.

To mount the winch, it comes with a universal mounting plate.

T-MAX ATW Pro Series 4500

The ATW Pro 4500 is equipped with a 1.36 hp Series Wound motor and has a pulling capacity of 2,041 kg (4,500 pounds). The planetary gear has a ratio of 189:1. The maximum cable speed is 5.5 m/min. Size 372 x 120 x 181mm. Mounting dimensions 169 x 76 mm.
