The main difference between the LT-50, also known as Lightweight, and the Gen 3-R lies in their weight. The LT-50 is particularly lightweight, making it ideal for those who want to avoid excessive vehicle load. Despite its lightness, this tent is made of aluminum and can be easily mounted on the vehicle roof, just like the Gen 3-R. Additionally, both tents come with a comfortable mattress.

James Baroud, a Portuguese company, manufactures roof tents, awnings, tunnels, and related accessories. Their roof tents are divided into two distinct series.

In the Frontier Series, you'll find the new Odyssey roof tent, featuring a 6-part fabric and a special closing mechanism. The Evolution Series offers a wide range of options, including the Space, Evasion, Grand Raid, and Discovery roof tents. Each model is available in different sizes - M and XL (Grand Raid also in size X). The tents come in three opening types: Parallel, Hybrid, and Triangle. Additionally, each tent includes a mattress and various other features.
