The James Baroud roof tent is made of 3 layers of reinforced fiberglass and coated with a UV-protective gel coat. These two components are the reason for durability and preservation despite extreme weather conditions.

Tencate Material 

The James Baroud Evolution Series tents feature an exceptional three-layer fabric. This patented fabric is designed to provide superior protection and durability. The fabric walls are treated with a water repellent treatment that provides long lasting waterproofing.

Solar fan

The James Baroud Solar Powered fan is an advanced ventilation system specifically designed to reduce condensation and improve air circulation in our hard-shell roof tents.

Mattress

The high-density mattress is a foam mattress specially designed for long trips and maximum comfort. With a density of 28 kg/m3 (1.75 lb/ft3) and a height of 65 mm (2.5 inches), it is one of the most comfortable options on the market.

James Baroud Grand Raid roof tent is a high quality and durable roof tent. The upper and lower roof tent shells are made of 3-layer GRP and sealed by a gel layer, creating a dense and robust construction. The tent is easy to assemble and can be installed on the vehicle roof within minutes. The roof tent is available in sizes M, X and XL and offers you space for 2-3 adults and/or 2 children. Inside the tent you will find a 65mm soft mattress and an internal pocket system where you can store small equipment and clothing. With the Grand Raid roof tent, you have the special feature of a roof storage area that allows you to stow luggage or similar items weighing up to 25 kg on the tent roof.

The Grand Raid roof tent offers you excellent ventilation in the tent due to the built-in fan. The fan reduces condensation in the tent. In addition, it has 3 openings, which allows you to enter from all sides. Unwanted insects can be kept away by the built-in mosquito net, which is attached to the Tencate tent material by a silent zipper and can be opened individually. To protect you from any weather conditions, the tent fabric (Tencate material) is waterproof and insulated against heat and cold. The roof tent is also equipped with an energy-saving LED light, which provides a pleasant light in the tent. In addition, the tent offers a 360 ° panoramic view.
