Free standing

The awnings have aluminum arms that support the awning and keep it steady - even in bad weather. Should conditions worsen, the center arm of the awning has a stowed folding pole that provides additional support for the awning. However, the poles and additional lashing straps attached to them are only needed in windy or rainy conditions! So in most cases the awning can be used freestanding

Awning fabric

The fabric is acrylic-strengthened and has a heat-reflective silver coating on one side (aluminum fabric). It has an additional water repellent coating on the upper side of the material, which allows water to bead off. The awning fabric (315g/m²) has a water column of 600 mm and the basic fabric is made of 100% polyester, which is particularly elastic and additionally impregnated with an acrylic-based resin.

The construction of the fabric and the impregnation prevent fungal attack and thus also reduce the formation of mold.

Alu-Cab 2m awning is specially designed for smaller cars. Although it is only two meters long, it surprisingly provides a large shade area of 270°, enough space to cool down and relax. Despite its adaptation to smaller vehicles, it works just as well as the larger version.

It is freestanding and has a sturdy construction. The black cover with the eye-catching Alu-Cab logo looks chic. The frame is made of high quality stainless steel mainframe and the aluminum arms have the typical Alu-Cab design. This combination of materials makes it durable and resistant to weather conditions.

The fabric of the awning not only reflects the sun to provide shade, but is also water repellent. This makes it a reliable companion even if it rains suddenly. Alu-Cab 2m awning has a special awning leg that drains rainwater and prevents it from piling up. There are also telescopic legs that give it extra support and stability.

Visually, the 2m awning fits very well with various vehicles and especially with the Suzuki Jimny.
