Description
If you don't only use your tent in midsummer, you have to reckon with condensation. This can be reduced through good ventilation, but is naturally unavoidable. In addition, every person releases up to half a liter of liquid while sleeping, most of which is absorbed by the bed linen and mattress and, depending on the weather, condenses on the tent floor. Since this can lead to mold stains and mold, the mattress should be aired regularly after use.
The mattress underlay made of ultra-light polyester spacer fabric provides a remedy. It is placed under the mattress and enables rear ventilation. In addition, the mattress cannot become soaked with condensation from the tent floor and the spacer fabric also insulates the mattress against the tent floor, which can be cold, depending on the climate. The comfortable upholstery and the high shock absorption also increase lying comfort.
Available cut to fit all tent sizes and in thicknesses of 10 mm and for even more comfort in 20 mm. The compressive strength (compression hardness) is 1,300 kg/m² for the 10 mm feel-good underlay. The 20 mm version is slightly softer at 800 kg/m². The weight is 600 g/m² or 1,100 g/m².
Please note that the feel-good underlay is suitable for James Baroud hard-shell tents. The corners are cut out or pre-perforated. Evasion and Grand Raid series tents require all four corners to be cut at the perforation, including the corner that was already pre-cut.
