The "high-speed oil

Extremely creep resistant: Penetrates thick rust. Creeps into folds and crevices.

In the TimeMAX product family, TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 belongs to the group of oils. TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 is a very low viscosity penetrating oil. It hardens and leaves a solid film. It is used in the cavity protection of steel structures as an initial "penetrating layer" and, for example, in mobile homes as a highly creep-resistant wood protection for the floor slab.

 
Areas of application

Surfaces:

TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 has proven particularly effective for the temporary protection of steel parts stored indoors (transport, warehouse, museum, antiques). The use of TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 preserves the original patina of rusted steel parts. The oil penetrates into the pores of the rusted surface. Contact with moisture and oxygen is interrupted. Further rusting is prevented. TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 leaves a relatively solid film on the steel. Depending on the load, the protection should be renewed every 6 to 12 months.

Cavities:

Cavities are another area of application. Because of its high creep capacity, the oil is used here as the first "penetration layer". Subsequently, e.g. cavity wax or cavity grease can be used. Processing of rusted sheet metal: In the case of rusted steel parts, the surface must first be cleaned. For this purpose, a solvent such as nitro thinner is first used. After cleaning, the rust residues and dirt must be removed with a clean cloth. TimeMAX Speed Lotion No.1 is then applied as a preservative layer. Either a brush or, again, a rag is used for this purpose.
