Free standing

The awnings have aluminum arms that support the awning and keep it steady - even in bad weather. Should conditions worsen, the center arm of the awning has a stowed folding pole that provides additional support for the awning. However, the poles and additional lashing straps attached to them are only needed in windy or rainy conditions! So in most cases the awning can be used freestanding

Awning fabric

The fabric is acrylic-strengthened and has a heat-reflective silver coating on one side (aluminum fabric). It has an additional water repellent coating on the upper side of the material, which allows water to bead off. The awning fabric (315g/m²) has a water column of 600 mm and the basic fabric is made of 100% polyester, which is particularly elastic and additionally impregnated with an acrylic-based resin.

The construction of the fabric and the impregnation prevent fungal attack and thus also reduce the formation of mold.

The awning is mounted in seconds and also dismantled again. The awning with its 180° offers a generous shade area of 7.7m² and is specially designed for cars with upward opening trunks.

The 180 degree awning is a freestanding awning that can be opened parallel to your vehicle. This gives you access to the rear of your vehicle where you can store your drawer system, refrigerator and supplies. Setup is simple: you just open the awning pocket and pull out the awning from the side of the rear of your vehicle. Then you attach and tension it. Alu-Cab stands for strength, durability and quality, and all awnings are made of reflective ripstop material that helps lower the temperature in the shade. So you can create a more pleasant environment around your vehicle.

Included is a protective cover in black, a set of pegs in a small bag to tension the awning when needed, and a support base that is attached to the awning. Please note that the brackets must be purchased separately, as they must always be individually assembled to fit your set-up. Alu-Cab offers a variety of mounting options to securely attach the awning to your vehicle so you can always benefit from the shade and comfort of the awning.
