The Silenus Roof Conversion has been specifically developed for the INEOS Grenadier and offers two comfortable sleeping spaces. The 70 mm foam mattress provides a comfortable sleeping surface, while the robust roof conversion supports a roof load of up to 150 kg.

Insulation
The insulation of the roof conversion provides optimum protection against extreme temperatures and creates a pleasant indoor climate in all weather conditions. Thanks to the high-quality materials, the inside of the tent stays cool in the heat and warm in the cold, so you can sleep comfortably at any time of year.
Robust Material
The new roll-formed aluminium roof impresses with its high resistance and robustness. The roof conversion for the INEOS Grenadier combines modern design with practical functionality and offers the usual outstanding quality of Alu-Cab products.
Electrics
The Silenus rooftop tent is equipped with two USB and two USB-C ports, as well as interior and exterior LED lights. A simple switch allows you to completely turn off the USB ports to prevent standby power consumption. For off-grid travel, Anderson plugs are integrated into the roof – ideal for connecting a solar panel.
Tent Fabric
Riptech™ canvas has been perfected through decades of testing in the harshest environments of Africa and Australia. Originally developed for military use, it is now the favourite tent fabric of adventurers and luxury game lodges worldwide.
Assembly
The installation of the lifting roof is well thought-out and user-friendly. The rear seat bench and the associated protective grille must be removed before installation. The first part of the roof above the front seats remains in place. Only the roof above the rear seats is cut open. This means that all the important controls such as buttons and switches remain in their usual position.
Firstly, the plastic rails on the roof and the side fastening rods must be removed. However, these can be refitted later.
Once a sufficiently large hole has been cut in the roof, the new lifting roof can be fitted. The roof is then fixed in place and carefully glued and sealed. Finally, the panelling is cut to size and refitted to achieve a clean end result.

The installation of the roof conversion is well thought out and designed to be user-friendly. Before installation, the rear bench seat and the corresponding protective grille must be removed.
The front section of the roof above the front seats remains in place. Only the roof section above the rear seats is cut open. This means that all important controls, such as buttons and switches, remain in their original position.
First, the plastic rails on the roof and the side mounting bars need to be removed. These can be reinstalled later.

Three large openings with integrated mosquito nets provide excellent ventilation and clear views of the surroundings while keeping insects out. The rear entrance is protected by a small canopy that provides additional shelter from sun and rain. Integrated LED reading lights and interior lighting ensure sufficient illumination inside the sleeping area after dark.
The Silenus Roof Conversion is manufactured from 2 mm thick aluminium and follows the design language of the original Grenadier roof. Integrated support struts increase structural rigidity, while the C-channels on the roof make it easy to mount additional accessories. The quilted headliner incorporates an insulating foam layer to improve comfort in varying weather conditions.
The Silenus uses a dual-layer 400 g/m² tent fabric with a polyurethane membrane and stretch properties. This construction helps reduce fabric movement in windy conditions while providing privacy and resistance to water and UV exposure. Gas struts allow the roof to be opened within seconds, while an integrated elastic cord system helps draw the tent fabric inward when closing the roof.
All vehicle-specific mounting brackets required to connect the Silenus Roof Conversion to the INEOS Grenadier are included.

If the installation is carried out by the customer, Genesis Import GmbH accepts no liability for defects or damage resulting from the self-installation. This also applies to consequential damage caused by incorrect or improper installation.
No installation instructions or TÜV documentation are supplied with the Roof Conversion. When purchasing the Roof Conversion, the corresponding waiver included in the appendix must be signed.

When purchasing a retractable roof, the waiver in the appendix must be signed.
